What Style of Photography Do You Do?

Some photographers make a big deal about what type of style they do. Lately, there’s been a big trend toward photojournalism.

Photojournalism is where the photographer observes the wedding like a reporter, not interfering and documenting the moments that go on as they go on. These moments include the good, the bad, the nervous, and the emotional.

Traditional photography or portraiture is commonly accepted as where the photographer takes the time to pose people and setup shots. These shots are generally the ones of groups, of where the bride and groom go off together right after the wedding, and are the ones you typically think about going into the album.

The Artistic style is where we use different or unusual techniques such as angles, soft focus, and other techniques to produce images that are more creative and pretty.

We don’t focus on one particular style over the other. All styles of photography are important. We’ll use a photojournalistic style to document the moments of your wedding. At key points either before or after your wedding, we’ll do the traditional or formal poses of you and your friends and family. And in between, our photographers are always looking around for chances to satisfy our artistic cravings. We call this our ‘Complete Photography Coverage.’ Of course, we want your input – anything special you want us to focus on or any shots you want us to make sure we capture, let us know and we’ll make sure it happens.

Call Patrick today at (323) 309-3332 and tell us what you're looking for in your wedding photography.
