It’s difficult for one photographer to get all the angles at a wedding. Often times, a photographer can’t move around once the ceremony starts. Two photographers allow us to more strategically position ourselves before the ceremony begins. On more than one occasion, I’ve been positioned for the kiss and missed it when the groom dipped his bride and I got a great shot of his shoulder blade or the two turned to face the audience and I got the back of their heads. In all of those situations, my second photographer got the kiss. There is no way to anticipate all the problems that might occur during a wedding that will cause a single photographer to miss a shot, possibly the most important shot of the wedding. With two photographers, we have can be in more than one place at once. For example, one photographer can be with the bride while she’s getting ready and the other photographer can be with the groom.
Because of all the benefits that having two photographers provide, we don’t charge extra for a second photographer.
